REC Alpha Pure-R 430W Array Compatibility Checklist

How to check the REC Alpha Pure-R 430W electrical row against inverter, optimizer and string limits before building an array.

Residential rooftop solar panels

Use the 430W electrical row

The current REC datasheet gives the 430W Alpha Pure-R values as 50.5V Vmp, 8.52A Imp, 59.7V Voc and 8.91A Isc at STC. Those values—not wattage alone—drive string and MLPE compatibility.

Model cold-weather string voltage

String Voc rises as cell temperature falls. Multiply the panel count by a temperature-adjusted Voc and keep the result below the inverter or charge-controller maximum input voltage. The solar datasheet guide explains the four core electrical values.

Check current per input

For parallel strings or module-level electronics, compare Isc and Imp with the manufacturer’s current limits. Connector compatibility does not override an electrical mismatch.

Keep regional certification separate

REC sells the Alpha Pure-R family across multiple markets, but certification, warranty route and supplied watt class can differ. Confirm the exact nameplate and project market rather than assuming a family page proves every local detail.
