Privacy Policy

How Melnti Energy handles information submitted through forms and technical information processed by the website.

Residential rooftop solar panels

Last updated: August 2026. This policy describes the information Melnti Energy may process through this website. It should be reviewed whenever analytics, advertising, CRM, payment or lead-routing services are added or changed.

Information you provide

Contact, project, installer and brand-submission forms may collect information such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, location, service area, product documentation, project requirements and other information you choose to submit.

Project matching and installer routing

When you explicitly ask Melnti to match a solar project with installers, the project is assigned a tracking reference. With your consent, relevant project and contact information may be shared with a limited number of verified installers whose recorded service area matches the submitted location. Melnti does not intentionally broadcast a project to an unlimited contractor list.

Project records may also store which installers were matched, whether an installer accepted the opportunity, quote or project-status information supplied through the Melnti workflow, and referral, lead-fee or commission records needed for attribution and partner accounting.

Business and installer submissions

Brands, retailers, distributors and installers may submit business contact details, official domains, product information, service areas, licensing or certification notes, portfolio evidence and proposed commercial terms. Submissions remain subject to review and may be retained to document verification decisions, prevent duplicate applications and manage an ongoing partner relationship.

Technical information

Web hosting, security, caching and WordPress may process technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, requested URLs, timestamps and diagnostic logs necessary to operate and secure the site.

How information may be used

  • Respond to enquiries and requested services
  • Match consented projects with relevant verified installers
  • Track referral attribution, project status and partner accounting
  • Assess brand, product and installer submissions
  • Operate, secure and troubleshoot the website
  • Measure site performance when analytics is enabled under an appropriate legal basis
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations

Service providers

Information may be processed by hosting, email, security, analytics, CRM, payment or other technical providers used by Melnti. Those providers should receive only the information reasonably necessary for the service they perform.

Retention

Retention should be based on why the information was collected, contractual or accounting requirements, dispute prevention and applicable law. Verification and commercial records may need to be retained longer than an unanswered general enquiry.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. Contact Melnti through the published contact page to make a privacy request. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.

International use

Melnti is designed for worldwide use. Information may therefore be processed in countries other than the one where it was submitted, subject to the safeguards required by applicable law and the services actually used by Melnti.

Changes

This policy will be updated as the platform, partner network and service providers change. Material changes should be reflected by the updated date above.
