MNRE lists a new ALMM List-II revision
India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy current-notices page lists the “9th Revision of ALMM List-II for Solar PV Cells” with a date of 21 August 2026. The update is relevant to procurement and policy research because approved-list rules can affect which cell and module supply chains qualify for specified Indian programs or projects.
Approved-list status is time-sensitive
A product or manufacturer’s status should be checked against the applicable revision at the time of procurement rather than copied from an older article or distributor page. Exact model and project rules still matter
ALMM-related compliance can interact with tender conditions, domestic-content rules and other project-specific requirements.
