MNRE published a new compliance document
India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy posted a compliance notice dated 25 August 2026 under the amended ALMM procedure. The ministry’s current notices page lists the item alongside the ninth revision of ALMM List-II and other renewable-energy implementation notices.
Approved-list status is exact-model procurement evidence
For projects where ALMM requirements apply, buyers and EPC teams need to identify the exact model and manufacturer against the applicable list and date. A brand-level match is not sufficient. Melnti’s internal product research similarly keeps exact model identity separate from generic family pages.
The notice should be read with the underlying procedure
This update flags a current compliance document rather than attempting to reproduce the legal requirements in a short news item. Indian project teams should use the official MNRE document and current lists for procurement decisions, while Melnti uses the notice to keep product and market research dates current.
